Michael D. Cooper is from Rocky Mount, North Carolina.   He is the host, creative force, and voice behind The Big Scoop with Coop. A purpose-driven interview series that shines a light on visionaries, creatives, and changemakers across entertainment, sports, business, media, and more.

 

Growing up, Michael always had a gift for conversation and always enjoyed hearing people's stories, not just where they came from but why they kept going.   

 

What began as a passion project quickly grew into a platform that now features actors, directors, authors, entrepreneurs, sports figures, and rising talent from all walks of life.  Driven by purpose, not trends, Coop dives deeper than surface-level talk. Every episode serves as a platform for guests to share their experiences, including the challenges of the grind, the breakthroughs, and the lessons that have shaped them, all with honesty, heart, and humor.

Michael's mission is simple: to give creatives space to speak their truth, inspire others, and leave a legacy through conversation.  Whether he is interviewing emerging stars, industry veterans, or a household name, Coop curates guests who reflect the energy of resilience, creativity, and purpose.  Michael brings the same energy, real, relatable, and rooted in purpose.
